A question about fuel I have a couple cars that say 94 octane or better one of them is our old car my son drives now so if died I would leave it there and pull the plates but for the last 4 years we have been running regular in it with no problems at all,my other car I try to put 94 in but there is 20 feet of regular in the hose! One hose 3 grades??  Or should I just forget it and run regular?

I would think it would run . But at the end of the day your fuel economy might suffer enough that you don't see any gain  .Something you would have to document the before and after stats and compare whether its worth it .

I run 94 in the coupe when I can,, How much fuel in 20 feet of hose mayby a gallon? so it mixes with the good stuff plus whatever is in the tank.

My 61 Galaxie (390) doesn't like regular or mid-grade, and lets me know by the pinging. So its 94 for it.

my 2 cars both with 390's as well like shell  91 better than 94

94 has ethanol and shell 91 has no ethanol

esso 91 has no ethanol as well

They both run better on the 91
