Thanks for the great pics Jarvis!! Neat stuff, is this stuff you ran across?
Haven't seen an "AJS" bike in some time, i remember there being a few around years ago, same as the "Matchless". That floor jack hopefully will be saved and rebuilt, those things were good for many decades. The railroad car , they had usually a "Fairmont" engine built by Fairbanks-Morse. To back up the engine just reversed rotation.
That is an impressive BIG lathe, pretty big "Swing" by looking at the gap-bed.
Hope that stuff doesn't end up being scrapped and sent to China.

The owner does restore some of these things but he's getting up there in years.
