I wish you the best of luck, but I too have been searching swaps and classifieds for years - usually they're either 14" or they're 15" but 7" or wider or had the later curved spoke. I had to finally cave in and bought a new set of early style straight spokes at Jeg's halfway through the Power Tour.

 I've found the same thing so far too but thought it was worth a shot before I followed your path exactly.

I slid a nice set of wide ones on the back of a certain AMC we talked about last year and it got me a "bit" excited.
