don,t mis understand the title . I have a project car with a real nice steel hood an deck lid . The hood is about 3ft wide x 4 1/2 ft long  , deck lid maybe 2 ft square . in order to save some weight , and save the orig pieces . I wanna gut the hood an put a scoop on it . I,m looking for some body in the barrie Toronto area to make copies of these two pieces in fiber glass . cash , no b s . and no I,m not gonna call showcars ..77.

is that sposed to be funny . again a perfect eggsample of the " post / question ruining " replies that are screwing up this site .
As for any one else , that has an honest useful answer please dis regard the first b s reply
and back to my original question . I,m looking for a fiber glass guy , to use my hood and trunk lids , to make a fiber glass copy .
Need not be show quality as its going on an old drag car body .

I,m asking here first to support local hot rodders before I go on kijiji

There is a guy who does fiberglass repairs in our area .He did a nice job on a custom roll pan for The Boys car ,if you want I will see if he is interested in this kind of job. Ed

Wouldn,t Aluminum panels be lighter than fiberglass? Probably be easier to find a metal worker than a fiberglasser. maybe even someone on this site could do it.

Maybe try to get in touch with "Playin Hookie", a member here. I remember reading a few of his post, somehow I recall they had something to do with fiberglass bodies etc...

I dont see the problem with dealing with show cars . He hands you the part you hand him the cash , Just like selling crack , Knives's or pistol's at your discretion.

how about some of the marine glass guys ? lottsa skill with those boys. should be a fair number of em around barrie/orillia. just a thought.

Anywhere there's boats there's guys that repair fibreglass. These guys advertise on Kijiji, they're in Welland (I don't have any experience with them)...

Might also check if there are any hot tub companies in your area. Sunrise Spas are located in Niagara.
