If you've ever picked up a cast iron FE intake, you'll pay a little more for an aluminum unit. Unless it's a nut/bolt, chalk mark resto, drop the heft and go light!

Ya I'd prefer aluminum for the lightness but its a little heavier on the costs and unfortunately the wallet is a little light so I'll take what I can get!
If you fellows can work something out, I'll be heading to Cornwall next Thursday the 7th, and will be returning westbound on the Sunday. I can pick it up, it's 1/2 hr away, and I can meet you in Cobourg maybe.
Just an option.
I have to stop in Newcastle anyway, I have an 8 3/4" "489" case Sure Grip I lent Hemi a few months back, I need to pick up.

Hey why don't you stop and visit.....?
Any other Ford stuff that would like to live near Cornwall, I could offer shelter to V8 performance parts...
I have Mopar stuff stinking up the place

I've got one of those 9" rear axles, not sure what gear ratio, or what year, but if memory serves me right, it's a peg leg. I was told by the seller, it's off a 50's Ford.
I've offered it to Shagg, if it falls within his measurements, if not, it'll be available. I also have an NOS 2bbl oval chrome air breather, for a Ford, again, I'd have to look up the correct application, it's been sitting in the storage shed for 20 yrs. I look at it every now and then, and it still looks new.
4bbl intake for 390 wanted, cast or aluminum, anyone got one kicking around? preferably in central/eastern ontario.
thanks
give McIntyre auto wreckers up your way a call and ask for doug. he's a ford nut and if he dosen't have one he will know where there is one. also reg brown wreckers in the hastings area. reg is another ford guy. there both good guys. i got one but the problem is its attached to the motor and i would hate to break up the set. hint-hint, lol

try asking around at the bridgenorth cruise night, plenty of ford guys there.
what night is that shaker, sun or mon? i am coming up for a family re-union in duro next sat. if its sunday i might bring a car up and stay over for it. i might also know a guy here with one and if he does i could intro the 2 and bring it up.
bridgenorth is monday shag. it's my favourite in this area but i've missed a few because the weather has been iffy, the tee roofs on the shark leak like a seive lol.

dang-to bad
i was there a couple of years ago and it rained that day to. i can relate to the t's leaking from my old vette days, lol. by chance do you know j-rod, john fisher, who goes to that cruise. actually he goes to all them in a 50mi radius. drives a late 60's white 1/2 ton and lives in lakefield. i've known him for 45yrs and counting. he's a hell of a wrench also. still has his 66-7 camaro that i use to run against with my 66 deuce back then.
