I too looked for ages for one of these but no luck......so I then looked for the A883 3 spd overdrive from a 80's chevy truck. Finally got one and now its in my 46 chevy 1 ton. It replaced the 4 spd saggy that's now sitting on the shop floor.

Thanks for the reply. Been looking 2 yeaqrs myself. The only thing I am not liking is the 1st and 2nd ratios on the NP-833.
Question for ya, I have heard the 833 and saggy, muncie, are the same length. Is this true? Would save me making a drive shaft.
Is it tougher than a T5?
Thanks

yes same length but mine had the chrysler bolt pattern so, since it didn't come with the chevy bell, I got a steel bell housing and drilled some new holes. Mine is on a 1 ton so I like the lower 1st gear.
