firstly, thanks carl for helping me with the pics.
-i wont get into how i got it but i got it about 4-5yrs ago, was thinking 3-4 but it has to be 4-5. when the fog cleared and i paid for it, i brought it home. i put it on the hoist and a ford junkie buddy of mine and i went over it. he was quite impressed and obviously so was i. i drove it with buddy's dealer plate for 3-4 days with no issues at all. at the time i didn't have enough room here to store it properly so it went else where and it is still there, close by. i bounced the thought of maybe putting a 390/auto set up in it but buddy tim said that is probably not a good thing to do cause of the original shape it is in. offer the motor/tranny as an extra if the buyer wants to go that way.
-so, here it is,
-1968 ford f camper special
-300ci/6cyl
-3 on the tree trans
-its an original southern unmolested truck-except the rear bumper, obviously
-it ran and drove flawlessly prior to storage, -4-5yrs ago
she has been just sold and headed to british columbia once we figure out how. thanks for the help with the pics carl and thanks for the comments guys.
its been a good week, the truck sold and paid for and the belvedere sold with a good down payment.
you can't keep em all, lol. looks like the 40 pontiac coupe will get its turn in the shop for a make-over this winter after all. still undecided on what way or how far to go with it though. i've got the summer to figure it out.
77, i have had the bike here for some years now and i haven't paid any attention to it. in my mind it was a 1953 royal enfield, NOT. since you asked i looked up the paper work on it and discovered it is a 1960 300 single.
i have to apologize to someone on here but i can't find the posts about it to see who. they inquired about it quite awhile ago and in my head it was still a 1953 500. who ever you are sorry.
