I do like it ,there are a lot of body kits out now that make for some interesting changes. I like the Superbird kit for the Dodges and the Studebaker kits for the ElCamenos. Not fond of the 50Ford kits, and not sure of the one I saw that combines a 57and59 Chevy ragtop with something. If it gets people out customizing there rides no matter what they are working on I would have to say go for it. Ed
It looks like it was done well enough to fool SOME of the people SOME of the time. Like the others, not my cup of tea, but I sure can appreciate the vision, skill, and the perseverance to see it through.

Years ago at Bothwell, I saw a kit to turn a Ford Ranger into a '56 F-100 that actually didn't look too bad - I wish I could find the photos I took of it.

i dunno, to me the theory here is bass-ackwards. i think a kit should give the appearance of an older car, not the other way around. i do like the "stude-mino" kit. apparently they can be done on the malibu as well, i hav'nt seen one but i bet it would look cool.

Fords Rule ! If it ain't designed and manufactured in North America it sucks ! I don't do rice, pasta, fish and chips, sauerkraut, Ikea or other third world motor vehicle !
I guess someone found something they found interesting and decided to see if others were interested. By the number of replies and different opinions I guess he was right. I find the number of body kits out there amazing and the kids seem to find them a good way to kustomize there rides . As long as they get people interested in fixing up cars , I say go for it. Ed
Just thought since everyone is roasting the car, I was wondering why it was worth discussing. And yes, the HAMB does have it's restrictive faults but they do discuss some beautiful cars over there.

Go ahead. Ask me if I care. I don't! Fact is some may have crossed that line with me in the opposite direction. I have learned to keep that to myself. What possible good can come from roasting someone else's dream? Nothing! I also have learned that most who have actually built a car or modified it are very careful about what they say about others because there is a respect, a kindredship ,a remembrance of the effort and struggle of the build that keeps them from criticizing others who do it even if the aesthetics chosen are very different then our own taste. The Dutch have a saying I learned when visiting Europe and heard it also working with them here. I forget how to say if in NL but in English it goes roughly translated, "All the good captains stand on the shore" don

I really like the back end but the front overhang on that model was excessive and the new front end amplifies that fact making for a very heavy looking front end.
