I bought this car out of a field in Saskatchewan in 2003, brought it back to Calgary in 2004, and had it finished in June 2006.

It is the original colour, and now has a 472 cu. in. BBF c/w Kaase P51 heads, 12:1 compression, Comp solid roller cam, Victor intake with a 1000cfm HP Holley. The C6 is fully rollerized, manual reverse pattern valve body, Ultimate Converter Concepts 3800 stall converter, 4:11 Detroit locker and full Calvert suspension. It runs mid to high 11's depending on the track elevation. It's my first foray into high performance since the late '70's and boy has a lot changed!

Cool ride! What are you using for rear suspension to get a mid 11 second ET? I can't get mine to hook at all and actually crushed my leaf spring perches the last time out!

Best ET: 13.20 @ 107.65 on ****ty BFG T/As

Here is my Big Block(429):

The rear window is actually lexan.

Nice Ranchero Fordy Acres! My rear suspension consists of Calvert split leaf mono springs, Calvert Rancho 9000 shocks and Cal-tracs. My front suspension is stock with Calvert 90/10 shocks.

My best 60' is a 1:64 s0 far.

How it hooks:
