A guy walked in and asked if I wanted to sell it.
I told him how much and he took it.
He ruined it.

Hope you did well on that one. If not I think you would be missing it. As Parklane said it was an excellent start. Anything replace it?

Just how ruined is it? It shouldn't be too difficult to pull that SBC and slap a Naihead, Caddy or Ford FE in it! (I assume that's how it got ruined)

Steve, no offense, but how could you tell from picture #2 that it is an SBC under the hood?

It was set up for flathead Ford. '47 Ford truck rear end with open drive, etc.
the guy that bought it took the fenders off, sold the 15" '35 Ford wheels, (another story)
installed Mustang tail lights in the body. After seeing that, I walked away.
There is a '51 Ford Victoria taking it's place. 351W power.
Frenched headlights and taillights, side trim removed.
I'll see if I have a good picture. It's in grey primer with the front end hanging off.

'51 Ford Victoria. I had one of these back in '55.

Lots of lead work around the headlights and tail lights.

Front end is just hanging in place. I'm thinking of using the '51 Meteor grille.
