Portions of the proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish. The mission of Make-A-Wish® Canada is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
How much of the portion I wonder??
Sounds like it has the making of a good idea..It is becoming that there are so many great shows anymore and with the expense of owning ,driving, ins, travel expenses...I tend to pick something cloer to home..Just getting to old to rough it anymore ..In my seventies and Both the wife and I like a reasonably early night, a hot shower and a warm bed.. one can spend a ton of money trying to keep up with attending all of the great causes..I just pick one or two that are over 250 ks to try and attend..judt don't have the funds to do em all any more ..they are getting quite expensive but I like that they sponsor a lot of good causes..Lota people out there that sure need some community help ..Our provincial government has so much waste of our tax money they do little to squat to help those in-need..to many gas plants need moving and too many underpaid teachers, firemen, postal workers, cops, municipal workers ..So many of these charitys really depend on theses venues to help out..Good fun for a great cause...
i have already preregistered i think it should turn out well they are hopeing for 2500 rides how can you lose $25 for the weekend and that includes a free t-shirt while helping out an awsome charity hope to meet some off you there
you know i look at it like this no matter what they pay them for comming if they only make $1000 for make a wish that is one child closer to getting there wish unfortgently some times you have to bring big names to draw the crowds just my 2 cents
Who gives a rats ass who gets the money. You think all the money you give to the cancer society goes to research. This looks like an interesting event and as long as they treet the entrants with respect it will be fun . this sounds like the rodruns we used to go to . I think I will go to this one, driving events runs and other activities ,a weekend of fun and its on the good side of Toronto. what more could you ask for. This summer is looking to be a good one, 2or 3 Armdrop drag racing events a weekend run and who knows what else. No excuses get your ass out of the couch and your ride out of the garage ,this should be great if it comes true. Ed
i will be going to it seeing as it is just around the corner. trenton always makes good use of their water front area compared to the rest of the area.
-any members from here who are thinking of making the trip for it and they want to camp out i have lots of room with water and hydro to spare. its about a 10-15 min drive with a full shop if needed. price for same; leave ur empties, lol.
CANATS was held there twice back in the 90's and a great show is held there July 1. This can only be bigger and better. Make a weekend of it and visit the County just below Trenton. I too am about 40 minutes from the park and we have lot's of space for camping.
great offers ..but tough to haul the motor home behind the car..and I hate hauling the car to a car event..too far for this cowboy but sounds good for those close..
I don't mind making a trip for a good show, besides getting there is half the fun! But that's awfully close to the wine country of prince edward county. So the affordable weekend quickly gets expensive 😃
