Well sorta,my job has changed and since I don't need the big 1 ton pick-up anymore I went out shopping and came back with a new Ram 1500 4x4 with the Fiat diesel for power. These have been run in europe for a few years and a couple years here in the Jeep grand cherokee, there are a few around work here so I decided to try one too. So far so good but it does need a winter front on cold days
I guess you like the display of the system, no pics of the truck.
I didn't know Fiat already had diesels in the Jeeps, I was under the impression they were Benz diesel, like in the Sprinter.
Fiat has been making diesel engines for decades, they are all over Europe and South America.
You hardly see any North American built diesels in those countries.
Fords Rule ! If it ain't designed and manufactured in North America it sucks ! I don't do rice, pasta, fish and chips, sauerkraut, Ikea or other third world motor vehicle !

At -35 I need a winter front too and a winter barn door rather dropping my drawers...but I prefer that 5.9 tough and reliable as hell.. and they make some heat..
Ya well it is a nice truck for a 1/2 ton but I'm already missing my heavier truck, the mileage is not great as promised but I'll give it some time to break in and see how much it improves. Right now it's about 28-30 mpg but is promised closer to 40mpg, it is nice to see the 5-6 Liters/100kms on the hwy rather than the 14-16 on my Ford.
Yes Gazoo it is a turbo.
Teejay99 it's only a half ton but has a 9000 lb towing capacity it won't pull my 8500 lb 31 ft travel trailer like my 6.4 Ford I could set the cruise on that and fly through the mountains,I'm sure the Fiat is going to complain but at least I don't have to listen to a hemi scream at 6 grand trying to make a hill, this 3.0 has 420 ft lbs of torque at 2200 thats why I got an 8 speed with 3.92 gears. If I don't like it by summer I'll trade it off for a cummins.

On another note the 34 Roadster is in the body shop and being worked on
