So, these two serial numbers were given to me...
3999293 4 bbl intake, starter and exhaust manifolds.
3956616 complete with Holley 2 bbl, distributor and exhaust manifolds.
The third is 3956618... I want to do some digging to find out more about this one!

What are the suffix codes on the front pad? That will narrow it down to which of the three it is.

2 suffix letters until '69
Chevy by the numbers shows all 'F' suffix (1st one) as 327's in full size and Camero 2bbl. Check the crank shaft number,it will tell you exactly what it is. I see other numbers infront of the suffix. Maybe a truck engine??????

The only good part of the 366 is the crank and rods. Rest is junk. The crank is a forged steel crank and the rods are 3/8" bolts "thumb" or truck rods.
The block casting numbers 3956618 and 3956618 come up as medium journal 4" bore blocks. They might be cast crank 327's as they are showing car suffix codes or a 350. Neither of these engines would normally be a four bolt main.
However, you won't know if they are four bolt without pulling the pan. If they have the large balancer its a very good chance they are a four bolt motor. I have seen lots of four bolt main blocks factory installed in places they normally wouldn't be.
