Thanks Donnie -- This was a surprise to me to see it in Old Autos again.
This story originally appeared in late November in the Vancouver Sun newspaper. It was written by Alyn Edwards who is a auto journalist, living in Vancouver with a keen interest in classic cars, both writing about them and collecting them. He has a very interesting on line site called - Driving.ca - featuring a new classic car story every week. He has a little different slant or presentation on his writings. I quite enjoy his articles.
Old Autos has been a real supporter of the "T-Bird Deuce" since back in 2011 when I first found the car again and I thank them for that.
It's a great Hot Rod and very deserving. It was born in my home town, so I've always enjoyed the back story and love seeing it stretching it's legs out on the roads.
Congrats John!

John Its been a pleasure for me to follow your car through time. As I have said to you before, I remember the car when Mike drove it to Beal Tech in 1955. Gerry
Thank you guys for your positive comments. They are very much appreciated. This is Michael O'Byrne's car and it has been shared by 22 of us over the past 60 years. It does have a history.
We are so lucky to have Canadian publications like Old Autos and Canadian Hot Rod Magazine who bring our stories to print for us all to enjoy.
Thanks to Hot Rod Donnie for starting this thread. It is really great to see your SUPER 57 Ford gasser on the cover of what I believe to be one of the best issues of Canadian Hot Rod Magazine ever.
