I finally ended up with these Fenton's 15x3.5. A group of us guys have been trading these rims back and forth for a few years, I already had them once! Well yesterday I ended up with them again and decided to take them to the next level. I took them over to Heavy Metals in Barrie for polishing. When they were owned by our friend Chris, he picked up 4 rare Fenton centre caps (new old stock) off eBay. Today I picked them up from the polisher.
I noticed this post last night just after you posted it.
The first thing I did was scroll to the top to see if this was the "FOR SALE" section.
I realized you were just teasing us with them.
Nice wheels,,great job on the polishing.Good find on the NOS caps too!!

Thanks guys! TMJ the centre caps alone are like you say "a good find" and they go for crazy money. My buddy gave me a pretty good deal on the rims, but it cost a bit for the polishing and I had the backs lightly blasted so they look brand new. They were on my car 3 years ago, unpolished and with the old centre caps.
Hi Brian. Daryl at Heavy Metal charges $50 an hour. Its up there but he does a great job. My rims are from 1963/64 so they needed some extra attention. $20 per rim to blast the backs and $100 per rim to prep and polish the fronts. $120 per rim. The rims are hard to find and if you do they most likely need polishing (if your fussy). I've been watching a pair on eBay with no centre caps, they are at $373 pus $243 for shipping and they most likely will go a lot higher, there's still almost 3 days left for bidding left. HRD
