Can you imagine the cost that is involved to run a team. non competitive and no sponsor = no team

The cost would be staggering to ship cars parts and crew around the world to different races never mind the cost of cars and parts.

About 12 years ago I was on a flight sitting next to a chef for one of the "lesser" F1 teams and he mentioned that his budget to cater each race was $ 100,000.. That's to feed the team and schmooze the sponsors.
