I'm looking for a few parts for my 64 chevy like vent window regulators and a few other interior parts and was wondering if there are any decent wrecking yards that have older vehicles close to the ottawa area? Im pretty fresh when it comes to this stuff so the only place I really know of is kenny upull but they do not generally carry older stuff. It'd be cool if they were pick and pulls too cause I love just browsing old iron but I know not a lot of places allow this. I was in contact with one guy who was out of carleton place but I have misplaced his number.
Fords Rule ! If it ain't designed and manufactured in North America it sucks ! I don't do rice, pasta, fish and chips, sauerkraut, Ikea or other third world motor vehicle !
i was in stephens wrecking on tuesday. we made a road trip up to ottawa to get my buddies bmw bike fixed and swung by stittsville to see if he had any old stuff left. i wasn't disappointed. i would get in there before the ground thaws or it might be a month or so.

I actually went there the day after I posted this thread and got the parts I was looking for. lots of cool old stuff. lots of nice pre 65 chevy's. a whole whack load of nice chevettes if that sort of thing interests you haha. it will be nice when the snow is completely gone and the ground is dry. there was a lot of stuff I didn't check out cause I was sick of walking around in the snow and mud.
Bone Yard I have heard has a bit of stuff but the years ago when the grandfather(?) owned it there was lots. He passed and apparently most was scrapped before family restarted the business. ( the preceding story may contain facts, rumours, lies and fiction use at your own risk)

In the late '80's I visited a yard full of early 60's cars just west of Prospect and south of County Road 10 on Beckwith Boundary Road. I did a google satellite view and it looks like it may be gone, dunno? Road trip?
You are referring to Gordy Bourne's yard just outside prospect .been their once and hope to get back . I m looking for some parts for my early Chevy Chevette!
