I am about to install a prostick into my Mustang and the instructions state to use the neutral safety switch on the shifter and remove the stock one from the trans. I was wondering if anyone on here knows whether or not I can keep the stock one in place.
Not sure how the ford one works but I just put one in my Nova and since the factory switch works off the factory shifter, it wouldn't work. My factory switch was on the column.

Ya I just re-read the instructions better and I have to change the shifter arm on the trans to the one supplied by B&M so the stock switch will not fit. How do you like the shifter so far?
Lol!!! I wish I could tell you but I'm still trying to get the car on the road. My build thread is titled "picture evidence for.....". It's getting closer to being done but still quite a ways off. I do know one thing about the pro stick...my wife probably won't be driving my car! Lol
