Everybody is welcome..The only constant with the E.L,T.A. is no goofs........ it' is a great get together but not at all a car show...More like a big "really big" family get-gether and a god place to visit and meet 5,000 other gearheads for a fun filled day of meeting old friends and making new ones..I am sure you and your sweet ruck would be welcome ..
Hey Moobster.....we would love to have your truck join us at this years ELTA Summer Bash.....always a fun weekend....come early and stay late brother....lots to take in for the 2 day party. Send me a pm if you have any other questions....thanks again.
A lot of gearheads do start showing up earlier as it gets a huge crowd..Remember this is a club That has a ton of prep work to get done to host this and everybody has jobs..Mark and the guys do a hellava lot of work to open up their club house accommodate over 1000 people on a city street..You are lucky to visit with Mark and the guys as they are super busy keeping things flowing for 12 to 18 hrs .. You could either book a room If you want and stay the night, or if your a camper I am about 30 min from the ELTA bash and I could have about 20 or more campers if that's any help I have 5 acres in the country with grass and trees..The ELTA is a heck of a group of rodders that sweat the hobby and live for the commrodderie, fun times and speed..Their summer bash attracts the largest variety of u name it and it will be there..bring ear protection for when some of these fire up those monsters you would not be able to hear a cannon go off beside you..It really is a great street party and has gotten bigger and bigger every year..Frankly I could hardly imagine how it could hold any more.. If this is the only event I could get to during the year to see old friends ..It would satisfy my rodder needs for the season.. A great time is had by all..bring a lawn chair , an umbrella for shade..and a cooler with YOB and maybe a sandwich and your camera ..there is a food truck but huge lines , a couple really good rock-a-Billy bands..and if you don't have a good time it would be your own fault..So come for the party and stay for the storys, and friends you meet..and It's totally free...Thanks to Mark and the ELTA..disciples of speed and hot rodding... Bring a couple flash-lites to find your way home.. good luck probably cya there ....
Chuckky you're too kind my friend!!! Yep we do do a ton of work prior to and during the show to keep it interesting and flowing as smoothly as possible. The work put in over the course of the year is sniffing out new stuff to bring in and show you guys. Right now we have, arguably the first hot rod built in London. Gerry Davies built it in '47 with a flathead and in 52/53 put an Olds in it, still there and only been painted MAYBE twice. There are cars coming out of the woodwork for this. A gentleman from Chatham built a 34 Studebaker Gasser 25 years ago. Its never been out of the garage…but it's coming to the ELTA party. That kind of stuff continually happens as guys come out for the first time and can't wait to get back WITH their car. Come on down and enjoy. Wayne

I was there just after lunch last year and had to park at the end of the street about as far away from the club house as you could get! Not complaining because we had shade trees for the car and our lunch break. The walk to the club house was a street and every parking lot full of cars...awesome! Sadly we have a wedding to attend on that day and My wife and I can't make it but I am interested in the Friday events and whether they are open to all or just by invite?

There is no bad spot to park. People will gravitate to the main shop/band/hotrod area for sure but everyone floats around. Look for anyone of us "ELTA brothers" and we are happy to help and happy you came. Its going to be AWESOME this year.
Why does it start at 5pm? I'd like to go but not thrilled to drive an old car home in the dark.
Hey Al.....this has always been a NIGHT PARTY since I set this event up 11 years ago with the Hartman Family....you can still come down early in the day and check out all the cool stuff rolling in and the drag cars being positioned in place for the evening cacklefest....the street is always in flux with cars rumbling up down through out the day. Even if you peel out at 4:00pm to go home you will have had a good time but you'll definitely miss the fun stuff once it starts to get dark. The urban landscape of the old buildings in east London just give off such a cool vibe brother....the bands, Elvis Show, some of the drag cars parading down the street outside our ELTA Club Shop is really awesome not to mention the largest and the original "Big Cackle" where the Drag Cars make the coolest choir of HIGH OCTANE music this side of Indy...lol... and I know many get lost for hours in our ELTA Shop checking out the vintage cars and the memorabilia. I know I'm still working on a few more surprises as we speak but the ELTA Lads will be certainly rolling out the red carpet to all the old and new friends.....hope to see you there Al.
can,t wait, a gearhead frenzy for sure, this is my 2nd year at the party. only wished I came to Canada a decade ago some ove the best friend,s we have are e.l.t.a. crew & family

i want to go to this! I really need to get a car on the road, but the home renovations are taking all my time...
Hey Rick....thanks for the support brother and the party has always been about the people that come out to add to the energy in the air and the fun.....so if you can get away from the home reno's and jump in your every day ride, just peel down...but if your jammed up I truly know you'll be there in spirit brother.....cheers.
Thanks Chuck......that was a great road trip for the ELTA lads to the Nationals in Syracuse this past weekend. I must say it was really cool how many Canadians go to this event and how many came by our ELTA Tent Lounge to say hi and hang out. The TV interviews were too funny, especially Glenn (Cat in the Hat) mugging with the guy from the TV station in the second clip....lol.....too funny. One fun weekend with great people and some awesome cars.
I would love to attend this wonderful summer party!! Last year I attended one of best New Year eve party nyc and it was a great experience for me. I hope this London trip will also be as interesting as the last one!!
ATTENTION!!!!!.....if you have missed Rochies post .....we have had a complaint and concerns about the traffic on the street outside of our ELTA Shop on the day of our open house from one of the business near to us. As we have always stated over the past 10 years of hosting this open house it doesn't start till 5:00 in the afternoon. The ELTA Family is asking for everyones help in respecting our request to come after 5:00 unless your one of the drag cars or special displays that have made arrangements to be there a little earlier for set up. So please help us to keep this a fun and safe event.....THANK YOU.
To the Ontario Rodder Family......I wanted to pass along my thanks and the thanks of all my fellow E.L.T.A. Disciples of Speed for the awesome support of this years 11th ELTA Summer Bash. It's this support, passion and kind words that make us feel very blessed and thankful. Once again THANK YOU ALL!
