The Ford 9 seals were leaking like a sieve. They were replaced and disc brakes

Were installed. 10.00x15 Firestone cheater slicks were added on chrome smoothies

The rear end was like a marshmallow so a pan-hard bar was added

more bracing for the leaf brackets to come

It sits 2 1/2 " higher in the front

17" to the rocker

I also moved the front axle ahead 3 " to give it a bit of an altered look

So much for week one! I need a beer or 2

Great Falcon long roof. Wow you got more done than I have in a year. Still mocking up moving the rear springs over. Do you have a link showing the front axle install. Still over thinking it.

I just want to know where you hide your steady supply of gumption? Have you got any you can spare? Is it sitting out there in the open somewhere? Are you easily distracted so I can sneak some? Is it locked up? If so, where is the key?

Steve. I dont know what gumption is. Is that like viagra?

You can have all you need!

I get wood just creating. Polishing turds. Doing what others wont

Silk purse from a pigs azz. Blah blah blah

Its about doing. Something. Anything. Some like my builds.

Others dont. But. As long as I'm doing I'm happy

Wait till you see whats coming in the shop in June!

This is just to make it cool to drive this summer

It will be at the ELTA BASH AUG 9 and Syracuse and a few others

The big work happens this fall. To get it worthy of Detroit

Thanks for the positive response

I personally don't think the velocity stacks, fab'd valve covers, and electric water pump fit your gasser theme. I would go with a hilborn or Scott style scoop, a set of cast valve covers like corvettes, or if clearance is needed - Cal Customs, Script Edelbrock, or Offy's. A short water pump with chrome pulleys would really pull off the look, plus I have had those electric pumps die on me at the worst possible times.

But its not my car....just my $0.02 since you asked

Why not an electric fuel pump too..so you have a fuel cut off switch in case of fire.

This project looks cool! I would go old skool, cast finned valve covers, mailbox air scoop, points cap (with Pertronics), mechanical water pump, chromed pulleys, red fuel hoses........ you know. Just MY opinion, but it's YOUR car. No matter what you choose, I"m sure you'll make it work.
