Over the winter I decided to make this old girl a little more authentic. Put a straight axle in it, some more appropriate tires on it, proper headers and put a little more steam in the engine. Put about 150 miles on it and it drives and rides not bad. Next thing is 8 stack Hilborn fuel injection (electronic controled) Still NOT going to do the body and paint.

Thanks John. Looks like this "Gasser Thing" is catching on. Three buddies of mine have also straight axled there cars over the winter. Another 55 Chev, a 62 BelAir and a very cool 56 Olds.

Car looks great in the pics. I hope to be able to keep the ELTA weekend clear so I can see it in person. This will be my first time going and based on last years pics I missed a great time. Heres hoping all goes well for me this year.
