I have diamondbacks on two rides.. They are a great company to deal with ..A Family owned company located in Conroy just outside of Myrtle Beach SC..they have a web site and you can call directly to person making your tire..I can't give them a high enough rating to do business with..short story..One tire I had got a little air bubble in the white wall just a little pin hole ..I took a couple pics and talked to them on the phone..they shipped me a new tire on their knickle.and told me to keep the blemish for a spare..had my tire in 7 days..you can pick any brand of tire you want and will cut the white wall in ...I have Michelin's with the wide whites on my coupe and on my wife's ride..
I didn't realize you could order direct from diamond back?? I'm looking for a set of diamond back III for my truck. I'll get in touch with them and see if they'll sell to me then.
HI FATCHUK : That's pretty good support for Diamond Back -- I have been looking at their site and will give strong consideration to your recommendations -- Many thanks -- LATER -- DON / Fleet 51
Hey if you guys are ordering some tires please let me know ..I would like to order a couple as well and maybe we share some shipping or pick them on the Merican side or does anybody have an easy cross border ..just asking I need a couple ...thanks
Well Rusty said if we put together at least 8 tires he can give us a deal. Saves on shipping too. I don't think we all live so close together though. Rocky Island actually has 4 tires in stock of the size I need and to be honest the pricing is pretty comparible buying direct vs me buying from Rocky.
Not a problem beans..I just thought if ...I was gonna add mine..I need two ..So I will probably just have them shipped to Port-Huron later in the fall..But they are great to deal with ,they back their product and are very customer friendly..I believe they are hotrodders..IHave heard some horror stories about coker from the HAMB..there are many many unresolved issues with people plenty pissed off..I have a set of cokers that were on my car for about 10,000 and I never liked them so I put Michelins from Diamondback on my coupe and really appreciated the friendly service and good karma from diamondback.. So I am a life-time customer and supporter of them..they won me over with the no hassle great customer service...
I will gladly be the first to say it outright, Corky Coker is a dickhead. We used to buy all of our antique car tires through Anne Klein when she was alive and owned Universal Tire out of Pennsylvania, when she passed, her company became part of Coker, the quality went down, the customer service went to nil. We too' tires with us back to Hershey for Corkys inspection, he looked at them and told us they were very old stock and not his problem. We had purchased them five months previous' all looked to be weather checked and yellowing badly, early Model T all white smoothie tires, have not been the same since. When we can find NOS Universal whites, we snap them up as they will outlast Cokers version by years! I understand lots of people have issues with his wide whites yellowing badly as well, poor quality rubber products...
