I have a brand new set not for sale but I will tell you I bought them at the stirling flea market a few years ago from some guy who had dozens of pairs for sale among other period pieces

You would have bought them from Reg Perron , The Fender Skirt King.. you used to be able to buy them new from Dominion Auto till about 1997/98 when they went out of business. I sold them by the hundreds then,wish I'd have stocked up on "sex lights" then.... The official name for them was Anti Glare lights, Macs still sells them too but they have that faded purple colour to them now,not the original brilliant blue light old stock Blue dot lenses.. or real glass Noxzema bottles,lol.. I still have an authentic pair,but they aren't going anywhere soon!

I will have to quit leaving my window down ..didn't realize they were so rare and valuable..I love mine..I have the red ones under the dash ,,but my old lady's legs don't look anything like they did 60 years ago..probably time to cut that wire..Not allowed to oogle young legs, high risk of severe injury or jail.. biggrin biggrin ..vision and hormones are not the same either. cry .

I Have Reds Under The Dash To & Your Right Just Not The Same Is It. LOL!

They Look Blue When Their Off BUT Turn Them On & You Got Purple/Redish.
But Your Noxzema Bottles Is Not To Far Off Track.
Dave Horne Had The Same Idea The Other Day Over Coffee.

If I Can't Find Real One's I'l Try To Make Them.

Hokey mokey.. I was taking a tour of some of my junk looking for some Buick emblems for Cheyenne ..He was looking for some for his car..AND lookie ..Lookie I found these //did not know I had them two brand new still in the PKG..Glass..The bad news Is I think I wanna keep them But on the PKG it has a Flying "J" truck stop sticker dated 1998.. and if you can see on the pkg it says "hi Quality truck accessories..made in Taiwan..So I am thinking a lot of truckers still use these so You may want to try any truck stop ..I know there is one in London just south of the 401 on Highbury ave..Hope this is of some help..I know I never knew I had these but Now, I want to keep them because they do have the blue dot and they are glass..

Grump..Here is what I would be willin to do for you..I know they are out there..but when you want them they are expensive or elusive....I would let you have the ones I have ..if you will replace them with glass ones and not stop looking and try to just buy me off..You could have them now and find another set for me over the next few months..I would do that for yah ..I did this once before and theperson just quit looking for the item and then just offered me some money to by me off..I don't need the money and they are not for sale..but you could have them now and replace them ..op to you..probably less than an hr drive from you..

That is a very generous offer and a rare quality to trust someone you do not know especially in this day and age.

I have been looking for these lights for quite some time and have not even come close let alone new in package.

My fear is that I will not find them and I do not want to leave you hanging. There is no guarantee how long it will take me to find them or if I ever will.

I know if I did find them I would pay about $150.00 for the set and I am more than willing to pay it if I could find them.

So again I want to thank you for your offer but it would drive me crazy trying to find another set so that I could get them back to you.

Also, so you know who you are talking to GRUMPER is from Walkerton (also my hometown) but I am GRUMPY from Cold Springs (8 minuets north of Cobourg)

I bought mine from a vender at the Old Autos Bothwell car show about 5 yrs ago. They are the real deal purple glass. This years show is coming up Aug 8 and 9.

Grump.. I did know you were not Grumper from Hanover ..How-ever there is a small community not to far from me Called Coldstream..And I thought or had forgotten the correct name ..I had in my head you were just around the block... ColdStream. confuse .Coldspring....My mistake on that Must be an age thing..but the offer stands ...I have to make a trip into London over the next couple days ..I will check the Flying "J" in London..over the week-end for you..I did some internet searching and you are right they are hard to find..I did find these ( link below) but they look to have a redish purple color ....I will keep and eye out at any swaps there has to be lots more out there for a lot less than your willing to pay..Maybe some of the guys heading to Syracuse might have an eye out.. Some times it makes me feel foolish having these and wanting to hang onto them ,,it's not the money it's more about thinking I might have another car yet that I might want them for..and yet I am at that place in life where I don't get out as much with my coupe as I used to anymore put about 50 miles on her this year.. My old girl has some struggles and is unable to go to many hot-rodding activities anymore ..I have discovered old age is not for wimps, so I am trying to get tougher and learning to use those hand rails in the washrooms so I don't keep peeing on my toes.. biggrin

A little more searching turned up this link..this seems to be the same company name that is on the ones I have and if you look at the info they list them in blue..It says the lens is acrylic.. but it's the same name on the ones I have ..you may want to check this site a bit more..I will punch in the part number in the search box but they are in my shop and I am still in the house .I will do that later..

There used to be a guy on my street that was in his forties and still lived with mommy. He used to go everywhere with her. He had those 'sex' lights in his old car and he never went anywhere in that car (or any other car) without mommy in the passenger seat. Every time I see or hear about those 'sex' lights, it creeps me out. Regardless, mommy has since passed on so he might just be interested in selling them, you know, now that the 'banging' has ceased (excuse me while I vomit then scrub myself clean in the shower cry bleh disbelief doh
