I'm looking for steel wheels for my truck. Having trouble finding the offset I want.

Need a 15x8 5x4.5 wheel. But would like to find something in the neighborhood of a -25mm offset (or 3" Backspace).

Can anyone recommend where I should be looking? Is there somewhere I can get a custom offset done?

thanks,

Back in the day there used to be a place in Bolton called 69 Auto Racing (or something VERY close to that). They made (or at least assembled) steel wheels for stock cars and were able to swap different centers in different hoops and set the requested backspacing when the two parts were mated (for example, they could take the center out of a Vette rallye wheel and install it in a super skinny VW Bug hoop). I have no idea if 69 Auto Racing is still in business, but there might be someone else that caters to stock car racers now, who can set you up with the centers you like and hoops in the width you need while giving you the option of custom offset.

Just found this on the internet ... seems the business equipment from 69 Auto in Bolton was auctioned off in 2008 and the owner died in 2012.

AUCTION SALE: 69 Auto / Hanley Ent. (Jimmy Ward)

AUCTION SALE: For 69 Auto / Hanley Ent. (Jimmy Ward) at 91 Healey Road, Unit 6, Bolton, Ontario.

BY: Auctioneer: Donald W. Reinhart // www.reinhartauctions.com // Phone: 905 846 1071

OF: Machine shop equipment; Automotive tools and race car parts

WHEN: Friday, May 30, 2008 @ 10 a.m.

I am sad to say that Jimmy Ward from 69 Auto passed today, viewing and funeral arrangements have not been made but will be at Macnair Funeral Home in Orangeville.
Jim will be missed by many he touch a lot of racers and peoples hearts over the years.
Condolances
Mark Dilley
Sunset Speedway

With several of the roundy-round tracks closing in the last couple of years, there might not even be a local business that does this sort of thing any more. Sorry for what appears to be a  dead end.

No worries. Thanks anyways. Sorry to hear he passed away. I used your race idea though and got in touch with a guy I met that races and he's a lead kings guy too I think. He might have some leads for me to look into.

Rally America is excellent, but I have also used Wheel Vintiques a couple of times without any problems. I had some mopar rallyes and some smoothies from them and they were straight and balanced easily.

ok thanks RacerRick. Vintique said they'd do the custom offset but won't ship to Canada.
