Not familiar with the campgrounds in particular but Vermillion lake campground would be a little over one half hour drive to Clarabelle mill. Naughton is much closer to the mill. Hopes this helps.
i would take the centennial park , it farther than cedargrove but a lot nicer ,thelast time i was a vermillon the beach isn t that nicei know they had plan for a golf course right beside not sure what happen , vermillon as the advantage it ain t more than 10 minutes drive from chemmy easy access to lots of store ,naughton doesn t have much as far as utilities you would have to get in Sudbury to do things, traffic on 12 hour shift you would be leaving to go to work before every others wouldn t have to worry about traffic on 12 hours
Thanks for your help guys.
Booked a spot at Vermillion Lake. Will try it out and see what happens. Really nice people on the phone.
Gonna arrive Thurs afternoon. Gotta do some safety training on Friday, then kick back Sat and Sunday. Work starts Monday
Any cruise nights or car shows or other happenings this weekend???
whatever you do don t let them try tomake you work where it s unsafe your life first ,ps I worked 35 years for inco I know there tricks lot of dirty jobs in there and stuff unsafe to breath
Whitewater Lake Park would have been a good spot also ... about a 10 minute drive to the Mill. From Vermillion Lake Park , you're looking atleast a 30 minute drive. My wife's family owns Cedar Grove .... don't stay there lol.
and cedar grove isn t far off the 17 highway you hear traffic noise all the time
Never heard any traffic noise there .... it's over 5km from the highway and then another couple km off the secondary road into the park. I'd be more concerned with noise from the park than the highway.
