Went to Sudbury yesterday because of a Bug Problem.  So we brought some home.  The Beetle has a 2000cc 914 Porsche motor in it, it runs and drive, the Karmon Ghia has a 1500cc in it, it runs and drives.  The Purple dune buggy has a 1800cc 914 Porsche motor in it, it runs and drives, has been sitting for a few years.  The green buggy is a  Jeffries kyote , it is 1 of 150 bodies ever made. It had a bug engine it now it as a 6 cylinder Corvair engine in it, it has been rebuilt plus it runs in reverse to fit the bug transmission.  It needs to be hooked up and it should run.

So now some off you are going to ask why would you buy them, simple answer is I don't know.  It started out just to buy the beetle, then turned into two cars then 4 cars.  It was a 6 hour drive so to make it worth while I took my big truck.

They are all forsale plus two other snadrails buggies and my 1956 Cadillac.

It's a good thing you had the equipment to haul them all home! Otherwise you may have had to make a choice over which ONE to buy! Whew!!!...lol...congrats on a fantastic purchase!

Jefferies Kyotes were a great looking unit.
We took some VW platforms from Detroit to his place when he was building them.

To be honest, it started with the bug for my son, then Ghia for my daughter. Then how to get them home, I could take my pickup and car trailer and have one drive one of the cars home on a temp plate. Knowing my luck the one they are driving would break down. So I asked guy what else to you have for sale. He said the two buggies are for sale as well. We talked back and forth, he sent pictures and we worked out a deal. Just happen that the truck and trailer were not busy this week so I went for a drive. They all need some work and really don't want to keep all of them.
But a month ago I was not looking to buy anything, it just happened. Honest Honey!!

Yeah he was a good guy to deal with. I sold the purple buggy already and the corvair engine is going in one of my sand rails. Should be a fun ride with that in it. My boy is taking turns driving the Ghia and beetle to work not sure which one he wants to keep. Lol
