Was talking to an ex-cop the other day and he said the MOT has brought in some new young hot shot, going to save the world, ass-kicking LEOs to the Sarnia area to catch hot rods with no pollution equipment.
I can put them on but I need some direction on vacuum hose routing for the EGR and the evap system. There is a control valve for the charcoal canister, but I don't know how it's plumbed in.
Can someone tell me? It's a 1974 Ford 302 with a Holley 4 bbl, and a modern gas tank as in a 1981 Chevy Blazer, in an old truck. The internet hasn't been the most helpful yet.
Also, the throttle body EFI systems from Holley, MSD, Edelbrock all have exhaust gas oxygen sensors, and can really tune the engine, but would they pass an emission inspection, or be ruled as "racing parts", and automatically fail?
the emissions " fun police " in east central ontario have become a nightmare. blitzes and hot shots working plain clothes. sounds like your area could be going the same way.

I am thinking that the Lieberals need money so bad they are looking at any and all avenues to increase their haul and the MOE will get active in all areas as they realise they can profit from the ticket writers. If they would learn to control their spending instead of spending more and looking for ways to increase funding we would all be better off. Someone has to pay for all their exorbitant spending and as usual the taxpayers have the deepest pockets apparently.
