Welcome.

I am very interested in learning to weld.

It would be extremely helpful to me if you could include pictures of your race cars (I envy people who own more than one race car) and a detailed description of all the fabrication and welding you've done to them (including the type of welding used) in your next post.

Eagerly and patiently awaiting your response smile

Just finished a quick session on Google .......

A Lee Wernik owns LTW Weld. LTW Weld specializes in mobile welding, claiming to have over 15 years experience and based in Durham Region. The email address for Lee Wernik of LTW Weld starts with "genlee_7" (thanks to a post on Canadian Woodworking and Home Improvement Forum). The web address for Titan Welding starts with "genlee7" (that can't be just a coincidence can it?) and offers teaching in east Toronto and east Durham Region.  Oh, and our new members name is also Lee Wernik and his post mentions Titan Welding Lessons.  Titan and LTW share "genlee 7" and the owner of LTW and our new member, who just happens to mention Titan Welding, share the same name too.

Is it just me or do these similarities suggest the possibility that our Lee Wernik (owner of race cars, who is apparently just learning to weld thanks to Titan Welding Lessons), could be the same Lee Wernik who owns LTW Weld (and has over 15 years welding experience), who could also be the owner of Titan Welding Lessons?  confuseconfuse

Until we meet the two of them together, I guess we'll never really know  biggrinbiggrin

One other thing that also bothers me though is this ........ according to a Titan Welding School Kijiji ad, they have (and I quote) "Shop location east toronto and east durham ontario! See our site for more details", yet I am unable to find an actual brick and mortar address for this school, even though they seem to suggest they have courses available in east Toronto and east Durham.  Strange ....

Edit:  Lee, IF you actually are the owner of Titan Welding Lessons (I never stated you are, I simply pointed out a few too many coincidences that seem to suggest that you may actually be the owner of Titan), it might be a good idea to ask the owner of this site to remove this entire post about your school, then you could return with something along the lines of "Hey guys, I have owned and operated a welding business for the past 15 years and have just started a welding school.  If anyone here is interested in learning to weld, I teach mig, tig and arc (or whatever).  Please view my website and I'll be more than happy to answer any question you may have".
