Well, nothing like that.... Just want to get it to Burls creek.  It wont be painted by then, unless a miricle happens, and I get lots of spare time.

My turn. If your painting it for Burls Creek does that mean its going up for sale? If so, why not sell it now as is, and save yourself. HRD

Nah, not selling. I doubt it will be painted by spring, a traditional 60's flake and candy finish is going to be time consuming.

I call bull****! First of all, that used to be my truck! That pic was taken in my driveway. I traded it last year for a '68 Mustang...
Not sure what you're trolling here son, but here is the link to my ad last fall...

www.ontariorodders.activeboard.com/t58536350/1931-chevy-pickup-project/

Oh ya, and the guy that bought it did a bunch of work to it this past year and actually had it on kijiji a couple weeks ago @ 10K...
Truck is painted Gun Metal Gray.

If you're going to steal a pic from the interweb, and make up a story, search the forum before posting and looking stupid...

I'm not pissed you own it. I was just confused that you used one of my pics and claimed it as your own.
I had that truck for 8+ years, I'm happy somebody will build it. (I ran out of money).

If you want to message me, message me here. I don't post on the HAMB anymore...too much drama...

Dan

Glad to see this was resolved. I love this truck and I go through Coldwater a few times a year and attend both Burls Creek auto flea market events. Would love to see it in person.

No problem, truck is in my shop in Barrie. Daredevil Kustoms. Let me know if you are passing, drop in for a chat. Dan has been really helpful.  Bit more work to do than I first thought. And being an early Chevy, not so many parts out there.

Think I am going to leave roof height stock. Ironic thing is, this must be the easiest thing to chop ever. But I kinda like the proportions on the mockup. I will spend a little more time on the computer, just to make sure. But so far, the. Picture shows it chanelled 8 inches, and 12 inches taken out of the rear of the bed.
