A friend of mine from Welland, passed on another friends request for help with sale of his car......wink

Hi All, Ken said this may be a good outlet to try before I start advertising the car on line for sale.

I have a 1950 Ford coupe that I purchased this past spring. I have since had the front rims blasted and powder coated mat black and then added chrome spider caps and b/n wide white wall radial tires in the front. I tore the top end of the 239 flat head off and replaced it all with brand new Navarro aluminum heads, arp head studs and chrome egg-corn nuts. Added an Edelbrock 3 duece intake with 3 b/n Stromberg 94 carbs and hot rod scoops. Topped it all off with a ready to run electronic MSD distributer with a points style cap, moroso black 8 mm race wires with the white lettering removed, and a power master 12 volt single wire alt in a 6 volt case, including all new aluminum mounting brackets modified to adjust a lot nicer than the original knock offs that were present. I have upgraded the starter coil, head lights, taillights and battery to 12 volt pieces. The factory tank has been replaced to a poly plastic style stock replacement one and have also changed the fuel pump to 12 volt.

Whats left? Change the interior lights to 12 volt, change the heater fan to 12 volt and change out both power switches. The engine runs bad ass ever since the conversion, but I am sure could use a little more tuning.

The car has all the door handles and trunk handle shaved, and the interior is mildly custom. It has been an excellent daily driver from my home to my business everyday all summer (about a 28 minute drive).

I am selling due to the fact my chevelle is finally painted and ready for me to assemble, so I will not need this car as my old-car-daily-driver this spring.

I will follow up with one more photo this afternoon of the car as it sits now with the new wheel package, you will notice the blue protectant still covering the white walls as I have not driven it since adding the tires.

I have $24,000 into the 50. The car will sell to first reasonable offer I receive – as Ken will tell you, when I am motivated to sell something it truly becomes first come, first serve!

Sorry, but that is not a coupe, but a 2 door sedan. The coupes don't have the quarter windows in the back like this one, and has a longer trunk lid.
