In all reality, mine could be on the road in week too. I'd have to drag/push it mind you, but..

Its ok I know the owner well . The time thing is a kinda wellknown inside joke. Fatstax always has an interesting project on the go, sometimes halfadozen at the same time. Ed

Tom Patterson in Newtonville was building a 54 Ford Mercury cab over when he passed a year past Dec. He stretched it into a four door, tilt front end, centered the wheels in the wheel well opening and had a step side box with the Mercury logo stamped in the t gate. Made bumpers and had them chromed for it. Then put it on a 3/4 Ford diesel chassis with a rebuilt motor. Tom had a small restoration shop and this is not a cobbled up truck as it was all professionally done over two years. Fenders and small parts are in colour and body was bare metal when he passed. I here it is now just collecting dust still sitting in his old shop. Would make a phenomenal hauler.

You will not find cleaner than these. I took them off a truck in New Mexico notice the paint still on the inside I sold the NOS ones I had at Lindsay last year.   2006-05-15 2013-03-17 001 001.jpg2006-05-15 2013-03-17 001 002.jpg

If he doesn't want those fenders I'll buy them! I have a 51 I'm going to start working on soon.

I know they are different but I think modifying them to work will be cheaper than fixing the rusty ones. I'll take them. So where are you located? When would be a good time to get together?
