Ok so I bought this car a while back and I am now considering selling it. It is a 66 Belvedere 2. It is a North Carolina car. I would call it a survivor as the body has never been touched and has all of the original patina. The underside of the car is like it came from the factory with the exception of a brand new dual exhaust front to back, rebuilt transmission and torque converter o miles, all new front end bushings tie rod ball joints ect. new brakes ( stock)
It has a re cored radiator and recent upholstery work with the exception of the head liner and the carpet, both are in decent condition, original wheels
The engine in the car is a 318 poly that needs a rebuild and is hurting. I have a .060 over bore machined block and pistons and rings for the same. I am just about to lift the engine out. So My Question Is What Is It Worth ? Not what someone is willing to pay. They seem to be priced all over the map up to 80K restored and modified. Any help from the true Mopar guys would be appreciated
I forgot to mention no rust anywhere other than the surface rust on the drive side roof in the patina

I would say 15-16K. It's a polywedge car, which means whoever restores it will have to replace it and the transmission. Fully restored it should be around 30-35K.
Thanks for your input Petbil. If I should decide to keep it I was going to build the .060 block and keep it a polly motor. I have also found a rare 4bbl intake for it as well. I am also thinking of just cleaning up the original patina and clear coating it to preserve what is there the body is that nice.
i recently sold a 67 bellvie 2 h/t roller from utah. it was as solid as the day it was made but the interior was rotted from being out in the desert. 4500.00$. being in canada in that condition is a big plus and 66/67 are desirable, guessing here- petebil isn't far off as is with a 318. 15-16 +-, on the finished end with a 318 i think he is a bit high, 25-30 +-. surprisingly the black book isn't all that high on these. but on your side is the fact that i have found that true/blue mopar guys are willing to pay for something they want more so than other brands.

My restored price was with a 383/727 installed. Since this is poly 318 car and keeping it all original is not as important, it would be a perfect candidate for an all new 6.1 with matching drivetrain. That would be one hell of a ride.
Thanks Racer Rick, I listed the car on Friday Kijiji and got a couple of negative feed back kijidoit junkies. However I think the car maybe sold for what I was asking. I have three Mopar enthusiasts that say they want it. I have to wait for the first guy to come on Wednesday says he has cash in hand and to hold it. I told him I would time will tell. Again thanks for your input

unless the guy has sent or gave you a down payment of sorts then i would sell it to the first guy at the door with the money especially off kijiji, just saying.
- i like your politeness with mopar enthusiast, lol instead of mopar nut-ford nut- chev nut or etc-etc.
Andy , there was a time when a handshake or a verbal promise was gold .....when I was in the car business I sold hundreds of cars that way . I would even order a car with no deposit ....TIMES HAVE CHANGED , my friend ! Instruct any of the so=called fer-shure buyers that the first guy with money in hand at your door gets the car !! Don't "hold anything" for anyone because it will probably come back to bite you .
I appreciate all of the advise guys, and I guess I am still a bit old school. Fortunately for me I believe I am dealing with guys that understand where I am coming from and are still onboard if buyer # 1 is a no show tomorrow. If he does not show then I have just been spanked and taught a valuable lesson. Tick tock time will tell. Regardless I will let you guys know one way or the other.
if you've got peps calling about it your price must be in the ballpark so to say
offers and amount of traffic to view it well tell the tail
to me , and I mean to say only to me the estimates seem kinda high - or hopefull as I've followed 66 coronet 500's for 16 years now
the last good looking one was about 7K for a painted car with a good red bucket / console interior and no motor or trans
unmolested and still in running condition I would say IS worth more though
how much more would depend on how much I wanted it
please note this post was not intended to be critical of any preceeding posts
- it's just the view point of someone who has window shoped these cars for 16 years
I know from experiance these cars are some of the most expensive mopars to restore so the value must reflect what the car dosen't need as much as what it does need
I guess the key word was desirable not rare for the mopar guys. The car has sold for what I was asking and will be on the road in Hamilton this spring. I appreciate all of the input and suggestions
I just bought 2 of them and shipped them abroad. One was a pristine original car, the other a hopped up street screamer. I paid 12K each. If that helps.
