Hey guys, 

I just bough a '51 3100 after looking at them for many years. If you have seen my intro post, I havn't had a car for 8 years when I moved to Toronto from Montreal. 

Now, this one comes from the states, and will be here in a couple weeks. Since i've been disconnected to the gear head culture for a long time, I don't have a trustee mechanic.

Anyone knows a hot rod/rat rod friendly mechanic that can do the safety on this and where if there are anything to do on it will be proficient on a older car?

I am in Campbellville (near Milton) and can do anything required, with the exception of the safety.
Started as a mechanic over 30 years ago, and now do it as a 'hobby' in my home shop. I have everything but a valid license (didn't renew when cost skyrocketed)
