Looking for a 1954 Ford sedan engine hood. Looking to " shave " a hood for my 1954,..and don't want to butcher the original hood that's on it.
Do not need the Ford Emblem, or the Chrome Jet Plane Ornament,..Hood only. If it is already shaved,..that's better yet. Would like something in very good condition.

I have 3 decent hoods however I live in Kelowna BC so shipping would be a killer if you can't find one closer

Thank You Fergie,...appreciate the heads up,...I found a pretty decent hood but going to have to do the shave job myself. Thought maybe someone out there may have a hood for sale in real good condition already shaved / filled, that all I may have to do would be scratch and re-paint. Shipping would be a good chunk of change from BC for sure,..those things are friggin' Heavy !!
Glad you found one.... amazes me, that there would not be a rust free 52 year old hood sitting in Ontario or one already shaved...
Not all that amazing really,...got a call last evening from a gent down around Bismark Ont., answering my Kijiji ad, who has a " shaved " hood off of his '53,..that he swapped out for a louvered hood this past winter,..excellent condition,..totally rust free and he guaranteed me I wouldn't even have to paint it,..it's already my colour. ( Pricey ),..but exactly what I was looking for.

Maybe I should grab onto that one too,..there is one guy from Northern Ontario in line ahead of me for that one down around Bismark,...would love to latch onto that one down there if I can. Thank You for the heads up toomuchjunk,..appreciate it.
