trailer brake controller

Hi all have a trailer brake controller installed previously in my 76 regal,how can I removed it.

2 screws on side of controller  

pull down  

2 screws on bracket   remove    

cut wires and throw in junk

Here is your typical wiring diagram for a brake controller

Undo and remove the wires. Be careful of the red to the brake switch, you dont want to disable that by mistake.

well,, in 76.. the hydraulic controls were pretty common... so there is the brake line that needs to be capped.. or the tee removed to put it back to original.... and then remove the unit and its wires..
