i have a part number for a rebuilt delco distributor 366/427 tall deck. however, it also lists it as fitting a 350 medium duty truck. anyone know anything about this 350 and why it would take a tall deck distributor ? is the manifold on this 350 taller by .400" or something ? i'd like to order one for my 427 td and need to be sure. it doesn't mention anything about a slip collar.

I have seen small blocks in medium duty trucks like a school bus, but never anything heavier. The ones I saw had a standard 2 brl intake and distributor.
yup, me too rick. i find the 350 listed along with the tall decks rather confusing. it makes me think that it is a slip collar distributor although the part description doesn't mention it. ac delco 88864793.
