Last year's cruising scene ran into a snag last July ....local A&W informed us that there were complaints about the behavior of some of the participants . A&W rep was very apologetic but explained that it was a property management decision out of a company in Toronto that operates the whole plaza . Now , it's a small plaza ...10 -15 stores that doesn't draw flies any time I'm observing the place . A&W is the "big name " and the cruisers show up on a Wednesday just as the stores are closing . They didn't want to name names on which stores complained nor was there any detailed explanation . Curiouser and curiouser . Can't imagine any old farts hassling the shoppers but that's the story . I have my own theory but I'll keep quiet .
Good news is , one of the regulars approached a much larger plaza across the street from the A&W . There is a large paved area at one end that isn't being used now because I think it is for future expansion . Result : about 80 vehicles showed up . Folks buy food and beverages at several venues so the stores are happy . Here's a sample from last August !
Corner of E.C.Rowe Xpressway and Manning Road in the Sobies Plaza WINDSOR ( Grocery store ) .....supposedly starts at 6 pm Wednesdays but car roll in starting around 4 pm . Lots of room , good folks .....or as the other plaza insinuated - trouble makers . Yeah and pigs fly !

Ohhh Windsor. Too far away for me for a cruise night. I'm in clarington/scugog area most of the time. Too bad. Looks like some cool cars show up there!
