Retro sound used to have an apache radio that was around $230 and would fit the 1958-59 Chev apache trucks. they came out with a new Bluetooth version that is over $400. I don't need Bluetoot. Does anyone know where I can get the old retro sound model for my truck?

I just took out my retrosound model 1 and installed the new Model 2
My unit Model 1 the display was very difficult to read. In the underground parking I could see the display but out in the sun the screen just went black
Enquired about having the display repaired and got nowhere.
You can have this unit for 100.00 and I will deliver it to you.
Comes with the chrome knobs for the radio selection
It would be a nice trip to Parry Sound,,,, where you are located???
Cliff
I can get some photos if needed.
You should be able to get the faceplate from Retrosound for your application.
I dealt with CIP Retro. They are a VW based operation but were very helpful in getting what I needed for my 67 Impala

Cliff. I need to check with cpiretro to make sure that only the face plate is different. My truck is a chev apache and retro sound makes an apache radio specifically to fit my application.
I will check but could you please send pictures in the meantime? Email is p_christie@cogeco.ca
