They are probably for an early SBC like a 265 with the square bolt pattern as opposed to the later issues where the bolts are staggered. Still an SBC valve cover.

Must be the Alzheimer's kicking in but you know what I meant, Since I hate SBC, I really don't care, just wanted to get another post. But, then again Jeff, maybe the a hole was just as confused as me.
Best chance of getting a good buck for those would be to put them on eBay (assuming they are of no use to you). Might not be too many sets of those covers around.
