35 gal seems like a very small tank for a 230 amp compressor. I have a Webster that is 80 gal. I also have a 2 1/2 hp Craftsman that is 35 gal.

I do not go by the voltage unless you are talking PH. also. To me the speed of a motor 1700 rpm for example you are talking one not bought at princess auto but a good compressor. The Webster should be a slower motor and that is why it has been around so long. You should scrap a tank that is over 35 years for safety reasons for internal rust. Just my thoughts!

Unsure of cfm. This compressor was originally used to run a multi bay shop for servicing house trailers
Took at the top of the head and see if one cylinder is larger than the other. If it is larger it will be a two stage rated at 160 psi at least. If not it should be rated at 120 psi.
