well guys & girls, have replaced 1 of the cars lost & waiting for 2nd. one to arrive from Regina by transport that was picked up last Wednesday. 1st. one is a 64 Impala S/S 409 4spd car, that I located about 15 miles from home. owner had it for 17 yrs. and "might" have put 1500 mile on since!!! I've been working on it , as it ran like "CRAP" from sitting, but is working excellent now, installed the 'torque thrust "D"s and have put over 2000 miles on it this summer. waiting for 64 Pontiac safari wagon to arrive , 355 SBC, B/W Super T 10 disc brakes etc. Bought this by "pictures" only and a few videos and comments on my Pontiac site from people out there that have seen wagon at shows!!

Upgraded T-10 - 4 Speed transmission. NOT a factory four speed car. Dual exhaust, new upper & lower control arm bushings. New front shocks with air shocks in the rear. Trailer hitch with dash mounted electric brake control.
EXTERIOR Solid body was repainted in 2003-2004 time period. Re-chromed front & rear bumpers. Solid body mounts and rockers. Very solid car. Luggage rack with rear wing guards. New Cragar mag wheels.
INTERIOR New seat covers and rear cargo sides are reupholstered, new dash pad & floor carpet.
Sold new in Southern Alberta. Wagons are hot now. Production: 1,221 Manufactured, only in Oshawa Canada
that's been my favorite Pontiac nose since way way back when I was a kid with a gold matchbox 4 door Pontiac
all you need now for the nostalgia drags is some cheater slicks .. some vintage racing stickers for the chevy and a trailer
I note the wagon's ready and willing with the hitch on it lol
well from those pictures, & description some things have changed!!! Wagon has passenger side mirror, chrome g/shift ball is gone & hurst T handle there, chrome air cleaner painted black, and electric brake controller not in car, so assuming that when Derrick bought it from Alberta ,that owner may have removed brake unit, & possibly made other changes [above]?? No big deal, must say though this engine "sure sounds STRONG" and short drive around the block, when it was unloaded off transport, it lived up to "that"!!!!!!
