Jarvis and 77 thanks for the replies. 77 Mr. Used retired and closed up maybe a year or two ago. That was one of the first places I tried.

On how strong, I'm not sure I know how to state that. I will be using it for wheels and tires and all the big and small car part junk I have accumulated, carbs seats, you name it.

I have some of the heavier racks that Costco sells. They seem to do the job well enough although I wouldn't set a engine block on one. I think they are about $170.00 plus tax now. So I'm trying to go a more economical route.

Seems like there should be some one that buys ups commercial/industrial stuff.

Have you tried these places? One in Burlington and the other up the 404.

That blue and orange redi rack ??/ is pretty strong and stable . Some times you can get it at a local scrap metal yard . But you have to keep your eye open and grab it when you see it .

Look up Gardner Auctions in London, as they are having an auction in Hagersville, coming up, and racking is in there.

If it is for home use,no problem getting whatever is available however if you are in a business,
you can be shut down and fined by the Ministry of Labour for not having current compliant racking
with valid engineers stamps, one of my past employers went through this and had to replace 50' length
by 20' high with new,we bought from a place in Toronto called Rack King, awesome guys to deal with,
was actually in there again this week picking up crossers for the business my wife runs..

Check out stores closing(Sears?), we helped Ross remove shelving when the big K's were closing and selling off all the fixtures etc.
