did make it to the one in Ottawa when I was a kid back in the '70's - it was still in the hangers at the old Ottawa airport and they had everything you could think of and then some including the silver dart replica
(first airplane to fly in Canada) various WWI stuff including a Sopwith triplane , one of my fav's and even some of the trainers for instrument instruction that looked like something you would put your kid in at the mall
the WWII Lysander was something special to see too
though the best show was probably what my Dad and his buddies saw when they would ride their bikes down to airport rd and watch the brand new Lancasters and Mosquitoes coming right out of the factory to be lined up in the lot waiting to be flown to hell ... and maybe back if lucky
sigh .. if only , if only I'd stuck with my childhood interest instead of wasting time with cars ..life might be a wee bit different eh
Here's an update to this show. As you may or may not know, the show was cancelled due to the brutal weather. I emailed the event organizer and he said they were trying to reschedule. He has since sent me back a reply saying the show will be cancelled for this year. Darn!
