I bought a car in BC to bring to Ontario. Anyone have a suggestion who to use?

                   Thanks

I have an Avanti shipped from Montreal to Vancouver via SeaRail.....
It was inside a carcarrier freight car. Protected from outside damage.

What car did you buy and from where.
If you wait until summer I will drive it back for you.
I like road trips.

I used Mackie Transport, Oshawa Ont. to bring my 64 Pontiac back from Regina. Went on "stand by" for lesser rate as I wasn't in a hurry, they had a spot come open within 4 days !!!!!

I tried to use Mackie in 2006 to bring a car I bought from the San Francisco area. After one problem after another I went out and got it myself. I do not recommend Mackie to anyone.

another "option" is the "Choo Choo" train. Friend had a 62 GP shipped from BC to Toronto rail yard at Markham & Steeles a few years ago! He had one glitch, waiting for broker to pay the rail fee before car got released 2 days after arrival.

Mackie's picked it up in Cobble Hill BC. on Thur. and will be here sometime Fri. to Tues. The biggest problem was the ferry ride with a transport for scheduling and expense.

Dang mang, if you'd spoken up earlier you could have just stuck a stamp on it and sent it on its way biggrin

I sure hope this doesn't end up being one of those "I really should have had someone look at it before committing" purchases we've all heard about.

1912 T touring and no I had not seen it before paying for it. I assumed it is a project and if better will be a bonus. The pictures looked good of what I could see. Been in the same family since new in 1912 and very nice people to deal with. Extremely hard to find an early 1912 made in Canada Ford T that is original and complete as it is. No I am not going to rod this one sorry guys as this one is a keeper.
Now think of the age of this car by as how long were they making cars before 1912. My everyday driver would be older.
