I was rooting for #88 and then #24 

and then # 12  and then # 10 .

then # 3 showed up .  Awesome !     

 

 

I have 2 friends here in Clinton and Brucefield who are 1st cousins to D.J. Kennington .

 

so glad to set him run the whole race . placed 24 or 25th

 Daytona is always a wacky race...I think the drivers are too impatient and it bites them in the a$$

Can't really help you this year. I got sucked in by all the whining from the Ford drivers claiming that they were going to be slow without a new body. Somehow Harvick has found a way.smile

How much more work would be involved to go back to the format used last year where we could see a breakdown of the teams each week It would allow us to follow how the teams ahead (and those behind if we are lucky enough to have some behind) are accumulating their points. I have trouble remembering which drivers I have in my own team, let alone those of others.biggrin

I caught a little of the race on Sunday. I was amazed how empty the stands were. Has NASCAR lost its appeal,was it the venue,the weather? In the past wasn't this one of the "gotta be there" races? Ed
