Lug nut spikes

Hello:  I am considering the use of lug nut spikes for my rat rod but I know nothing of their popularity or legality.  I saw in the Go Shop they are 4 1/2 inches long but I think they come shorter (and longer?).  I realize it is a personal taste thing as well but on some rats, they look nice.  Any thoughts or advice?  Thank you in advance.

The swap meets I've been at in the last year or so... there has been a guy who sells lug nuts, steering wheels, center caps ect... 

We were talking to him and he carries what your talking about... long spike lug nuts and he also has a super deep socket when you buy the set.

Not sure of the price but I'm thinking of using them on my car too.

The lugnut guy is Wayne and I believe this is still his number 905-834-5715. He is probably the best source for lugnuts, centre caps and dressup items in Canada.

Thanks for assisting, everyone. Flatback55delivery, Port Hope isn't too far away. I hope we can get together sometime and exchange ideas when the weather improves. I'd like to see your ride up close. Will you be taking your ride to Chrome on the Canal this year?

Sounds cool.Come on down to the Saturday night cruises in Port Hope. We may also be trying for a Sunday night at the Bewdley waterfront. Bring a chair and a fishing rod if it gets going . Ed
