Convert to EFI

I am thinking about converting my carb to EFI on a 275hp  350.   I really like the idea of ease of start and idle.  For those that have done it what system did you use, where did you source and anything else you want to share on it.

I haven't gone this route yet,but the Holley Sniper EFI looks like it works pretty good and is priced at about $1000 U.S.

I used a TPI intake and ECM. I have experience with that so I can tell you not to even think about it. If an injector goes south, it's a big deal to take everything apart to get at it.

Check out Holley's web site. They have a few different throttle body types that are easy to install.

I prefer something more along the lines of a ProFlo XT by Edelbrock as the injectors are very close to the intake valves.

Hi Mark,

I have installed the Fast throttle body system as well as the new Fi-tech.Both systems were easy to install

and set up.Also the Fi-tech has it's own regulator which saves a little money. The entry level sytem is $795 U.S.

          Thanks LarryDSCF2008.JPG

Hi,

I would have to check the instructions, but from memory.

One wire for ground, one from ignition key on,one to temperature sensor, one to tach signal and one for the oxygen sensor.

Main amount of time is for the fuel system, needs 60 psi.So in tank fuel pump and new lines run or they have a fuel module

that sits under the hood and is feed by your old mechanical pump.

If you want to give me a call ,I can answer any of your questions.
