Just a heads up,pull the plates off before you leave a storage area,friend of mine got a call from the cops a few years ago sayind his plates had been on a car used in an armed robbery.He was put under suspicion but never charged,luckily when he went back to the storage area with the police the plates were gone.The police were still not convinced, but the matter never went any further.
I got a bill for use of the 407 - 'cept I've NEVER been on the 407
didn't matter to the 407 peeps even though the plates haven't been registered for 16-17 years
still wanted to bill for opening account , for pic of car , for trip toll
I said XXXX no , not paying - they eventually reduced it to 3 bucks - charge to close account
AND to add the toronto cops at the new 43 division in scarborough seem to have no XXXXXXX clue how to take a stolen plate report
I went to the station , was told to call the ministry
they said no you have to have a police report first
so back to cop shop
oh ..file that through our website they say now
I go home , do just that
I get an email back the next morning , this report cannot be takin this way ...
WTF ... professionals ??

been meaning to send a letter to the chief of police .. suggesting if they can't do this simple job how do they actually do anything at all??
