simple rattle can ceramic manifold paint works well if the manifolds are really , really clean ie sandblasted
built a lot of 4 cylinder mopar turbo motors and my turbine housings are RED hot a min or two after a hard pull so they probably get hot enough to be see through paint stays on simple canadian tire manifold paint ...works fine for me but like I said - HAS to be clean as can be
to add , if I were to have the manifolds ceramic coated I'd have the insides done
this acts as a thermal barrier thus putting more energy into the turbine wheel by reducing the heat transfer into the manifold casting

I,m going for simple black or dark grey and quick resale hopefully . I,m way way over header paint burning off and I need the coating to stay on and look good . Were looking to sell on evil bay or racing junk dot com . I don't want a southerner w a pocket full of yankee dollars watching paint bubble ha ha .
I,m working on a plan to redo the just last week freakin blew up motor with howard race engines starting over w another block and crank . 400 trans is gonna freshen the 727 , then off to the chassis shop to get a couple bars put in the cage and tune the new caltrac set up . then to the dyno . then to cayuga for some test n tune runs and video.s . then off to evil bay and racing junk and wait to see what happens . I,m all ready starting on the gasser . HRE is doing some finish work on the sbc for that
I really really wanted to find a 32 ford truck cab but everything I seen needs a lotta work so I,m leaning more towards a local 31 I seen for sale
But the tough choice is spend more building a 32 but the sale potential is way higher then an A
