Went to Cars on King Friday night and like always it was packed. Oshawa down town core of 4 city blocks was all cars including the side streets. Stage was set up on the four corners of Simcoe and King for the band. It used to be part of Autofest until the city took it over. Autofest averages 1,200 cars but not sure what they get on Friday night down town.

heard it was a 2hr. wait to get in on Friday afternoon & crowd's of people with baby strollers etc TOO close to cars!!! Never been to either one so only go by reports from those who were there, but I did go to cruise in at the Regent theater earlier this year, was parked on the street, lots of "druggies" wandering around, so kept close to the car?????

Never seen the baby strollers but a couple of bikes down the middle. Not much different than an other car show but a much larger scale. The wait was up to an hour parking on both sides of the street you can not let everyone in the same time. There was cars sitting everywhere waiting before time to get in so it became a bottleneck when it opened. We are talking a pile of cars coming in at one time. All the downtown streets plus side streets were filled with cars except Bond St. that they left open to traffic. They left the four corners until last to set up the stage on the street what took time. I was in early and seen what was going on to set up after the streets were closed. They would not let anyone in until the city trucks were finished setting every thing up because of the few a@@ holes that cause problems.
